Can one request include several family records?
Yes. Choose “multiple records” in the form and list the documents you need. We will quote for the group after checking the repositories and likely work involved.
What is the difference between an ordinary copy and an official copy?
An ordinary scan or photograph is usually sufficient for family-history research. An official copy is issued or certified by the relevant authority for a formal purpose and may have additional validity, translation or legalisation requirements.
Can you find records if the place is now outside Poland?
Often, yes. Historical borders changed repeatedly, so a record associated with Poland may now be held in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany or another neighbouring country. We assess the historical jurisdiction before proposing the search.
Is a result guaranteed?
No. Registers may be incomplete, inaccessible, restricted or destroyed, and insufficient identifying details can prevent a reliable match. The fee covers the agreed search and a documented explanation of the result.
Can you arrange an apostille or a sworn translation?
We can assess these as additional steps when the receiving authority requires them. They are not automatically included because the correct process depends on where and how the document will be used.
